We understand that training is essential for employees in order for them to maximize the effectiveness of a new technology.
When School Boards decide to purchase schoolBundle, we provide a number of training resources in order to ensure a rapid and complete adoption of the of the schoolBundle Portal by all involved. We have clear and simple training techniques that will facilitate the adoption of the solution and allow core project staff to further extend their knowledge set.
Train-the-Trainer
We understand that training is essential for employees in order for them to maximize the effectiveness of a new technology. We apply the Train-the-Trainer model as it reflects the theory that people who train others recall 90 percent of what they teach, and that people learn new information through trusted social networks.
Methodology and Strategy
Users will be provided with brief independent exercises for hands-on learning to ensure the retention of concepts and procedures. We will, in consultation with you, use real situations and tasks with which users are confronted on a regular basis to guarantee functional relevance.
Assessment
Upon the completion of a tutorial, users are provided with a series of exercises to solidify the knowledge obtained. Based on the performance of the users in the assessment stage, the facilitator is able to ascertain which important areas need to be revisited.
Training Materials:
We recommend that each participant is given access to a computer for training purposes. Users will be provided with the application, which contains online Help material that acts as reference and procedural information, as well as a hard-copy task-based manual of common procedures and exercise handouts.
End User Training
This course is designed to familiarize the end-user with the basic functionality of the Portal. It provides an introduction to SharePoint 2010’s core capabilities including authoring / editing process, user profiles and standard Enterprise Content Management features.
Training Locations
Our comprehensive IT and End-User Training sessions are conducted at the client’s location. We will require that the Classroom is equipped with the proper technology for a class such as Laptops / Desktops computers, Projector and bandwidth that will support the users.
